Muay Thai Scarborough

Straight Blast Gym Scarborough is pleased to introduce our new Muay Thai Kickboxing Program for men, women and teens from beginner to advanced levels.  Headed by coach Jericho, our program is divided into two levels; Foundations and CAP (Combat Athletes Program).

Our Foundations program focuses on teaching the basic fundamentals of Muay Thai, which includes stance, footwork, basic punches, kicks, knees and elbows and the defences to these techniques.  In our more intermediate/advanced Combat Athletes Program, we focus more on combinations, strategy and how to apply these fundamentals in combat sports through drilling and sparring.  In both of these classes, you will learn functional Self-Defense, Get in shape, have fun and be part of our positive Community committed to helping people reach their goals.


What is Muay Thai?

Muay Thai is a striking martial art that will provide you with wide range of skills that will keep you safe while you’re on your feet. You’ll learn punches, kicks, knees, elbow strikes as well as countless combinations, counters and defenses.

All Muay Thai Classes are action packed and will provide you with a great cardio workout while you learn how to defend yourself and most importantly, have fun.
